Hello everybody,
In recent news President Biden has backed a pipeline that would carry a lot of oil through Minnesota and be bad for the environment, even though he promised to help cut fossil fuel emissions. President Biden still could decide to take back the permits that the pipeline needs to be constructed, but instead he is siding with a decision that was made during the end of the Trump administration. The pipeline would pass through areas that are protected by treaties; the particularly dirty form of oil would sink to the bottom of water and make cleaning up harder.
My message to the president is: do not go through with this, you are going back on your word and it will be horrible for the environment.
