Hello everybody,
I’m sorry I haven’t posted the past three Thursdays and I am going to pick back up again.
Yesterday President Joe Biden signed a bill that makes Juneteenth a National holiday! For those of you who don’t know what Juneteenth is, here’s an answer. June 19th 1865 is the day that enslaved people found out that they were free even though the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1863. It’s a great thing for President Biden to do now because of all the social unrest that has been happening recently. It’s a step in the right direction but we definitely have more work to do. Black Lives Matter.
