So today Trump’s impeachment trial begins. This is based off of him escalating the attack on the Capitol. His lawyers say that the protesters acted of their own accord, and are kind of throwing them under the bus. His lawyers have also basically said that he was not responsible for the attack on the Capitol. I believe that he is trying to worm his way out of another problem that he created.
