Hello everybody! Today is two weeks since President Biden and Vice President Harris have been in office! One of their most recent proposals is a $1.9 trillion coronavirus proposal which would give more unemployment benefits, $1,400 stimulus payments, and establish a higher minimum wage. While Biden has said repeatedly that he would like Republican support for this bill, the Democrats have enough votes to pass a version of it without Republican support. This would put Republicans in the position of voting against a bill that is definitely going to be popular.
