So today is the day after election day and we still do not have a result. Have your parents spent a lot of today looking at their phones following how the rest of the election is playing out? Mine have. But it is really close.
I cannot believe how many grown-ups were not thinking about our future when they voted. I cannot believe how many people voted for hate. I cannot believe how many Republicans in the Senate got elected.
In one of my posts I said that we should not stay calm and we should speak up and get out there. I will tell you that for now it is the time to stay calm. We need to be patient and let the votes get counted. We definitely need to tell our parents to stay calm too. For today, we have done what we can do.
There is more work to come, no matter what.
